GREEK SPIRAL STELE
A tall standing stone for a private commission to stand in a small garden cut during lockdown in Spring 2020. The client had worked in Greece and wanted a piece that was resonant of Greek history & culture. The continuous series of simple spirals was often used as a motif in painted friezes, but in this case rises to meet the air and sky at a "broken" edged top to the stone. Portland limestone. SOLD
